Coupa Launches New AI Agents to Accelerate Source-to-Pay ROI

FOSTER CITY, Calif. — Coupa, a leading AI platform for total spend management, announced a significant platform release powered by agentic AI. This release delivers predictive intelligence and orchestration capabilities that enable procurement and sourcing leaders to accelerate sourcing cycles, reduce manual effort, and gain granular control over supplier management.

According to Salvatore Lombardo, Coupa chief product and technology officer, “Procurement workflows must be fundamentally redesigned to thrive amidst market volatility. We’re moving beyond simple automation to tackle the complexity of sourcing and supplier management with a new class of autonomous AI agents,” he said.

“This release is a true game-changer. By leveraging agentic AI across our platform, we’re delivering the essential spend visibility, control, and orchestration capabilities needed to maximize purchasing power, accelerate time-to-value, and ultimately redefine global trade with our two-sided network,” Lombardo added.

The company stated that the latest release uses intelligent automation to elevate the supplier experience while providing powerful AI tools to help buyers accelerate discovery, reduce costs, and strengthen relationships:

  • Navi Supplier Assistance Agent automates instant, 24/7 responses to common supplier questions, resolving inquiries up to 50% faster and lowering operational support costs.
  • Navi Supplier Discovery Agent uses natural language queries to help sourcing managers find the best-fit suppliers up to 100%, accelerating sourcing cycles and improving match quality.
  • Coupa’s expanded Supplier Workbench in its Customer Supplier Portal (CSP) centralizes all pending actions and allows buyers to configure rule-based tasks with priorities, improving collaboration and ensuring faster supplier response.

Levelpath Launches Agent Orchestration Studio

SAN FRANCISCO — Levelpath, a premier AI procurement platform, announced the launch of Agent Orchestration Studio, a no-code tool that allows procurement teams to create their own AI Agents and multi-agent workflows. It safely empowers non-technical users to build AI Agents that automate every step of the procurement process, from intake and sourcing to contracts and stakeholder management.

The company stated that its AI agents, built on top of the industry’s only supplier graph, know the full history of an organization’s supplier relationships and understand its workflows. This ensures that their work is accurate, compliant, and impactful to procurement teams. Now customers can apply Levelpath agentic AI to an even greater array of tasks by using Orchestration Studio to design their own custom AI Agents and even entire multi-agent workflows.

According to Stan Garber, co-founder and president at Levelpath, “Customers are incredibly excited by the potential of agents to reduce cycles, eliminate inefficiencies, and free procurement teams to drive serious value from their supplier relationships. But, in practice, for many there are just too many barriers to agent adoption,” he said.

“Organizations are worried about relying on IT resources, lengthy configurations, agent errors and unpleasant billing surprises. Our platform removes these obstacles. We have hundreds of procurement professionals already working hand-in-hand with our AI Agents to get work done faster, and they are spinning up new agents every day. We’re excited to see all the work that they can automate with Orchestration Studio,” Garber added.

Fairmarkit Launches Total Agentic Sourcing for Organizations to Leverage AI Across Enterprise Spend

BOSTON — Fairmarkit announced Total Agentic Sourcing, the first platform to deploy AI agents that can autonomously source both tail and strategic spend, from a tactical $500 purchase to a $500M contract, in the same environment.

The company stated that the power behind the platform is KIT, an intelligent assistant backed by a network of agents built for every sourcing workflow. The platform natively integrates with SAP Ariba, SAP S/4HANA, Coupa, Oracle, ServiceNow, and others. KIT adapts to each organization’s categories, policies, and buying rules, then executes across the full sourcing workflow. For routine purchases, KIT runs the entire process without human intervention. For complex strategic events, it accelerates the work while category managers make the calls on risk, relationships, and trade-offs.

According to Kevin Frechette, co-founder and CEO of Fairmarkit, “Enterprise AI is long on promises, short on proof,” he said. “Procurement is the exception. The CPOs who have deployed agentic sourcing at scale have the most credible AI story in the building — and now, the P&L to prove it.”

Ramp Launches Fleet of AI Agents Across Its Procurement Platform

NEW YORK — Ramp, a leading financial operations platform, launched a fleet of AI agents that work together to run the buying process, triaging employee requests, sourcing vendors, reviewing contract terms, and handling compliance checks. The launch marks a significant expansion of Ramp’s procurement solution as the company continues to extend from managing spend to running the entire purchasing process — from source to payment.

The company stated that Ramp’s AI agents are a force multiplier for every company: running entire sourcing events, identifying compliance risks, and identifying savings opportunities. It runs on pricing data from millions of Ramp transactions, so a 200-person company walks into a negotiation with the same benchmark data a Fortune 500 would.

According to Geoff Charles, chief product officer at Ramp, “The tools companies use to buy haven’t kept pace with the speed or sophistication of what they’re buying,” he said.

“We built a purchasing platform where AI agents do the work. Finance teams can hire Ramp as an extension of their team to run purchasing end-to-end.”

Ramp lists several key benefits, including:

  • Natural Language Intake
  • Advanced Workflow Builder
  • Agent-Run Due Diligence
  • Renewal and Contract Intelligence
  • Zero-Touch Sourcing (Early Access)
  • Full procurement reporting suite

“This is the first step toward a fully autonomous back office,” said Charles. “Every company deserves procurement-grade rigor. Now they can have it — whether they have a procurement team or not.”

Ivalua Launches IVA Studio, Redefining How Procurement Works With AI

PARIS — Ivalua, an enterprise AI platform for procurement, announced the launch of IVA Studio, enabling a fundamentally new way for procurement teams to work. Rather than managing many AI agents atop fragmented data and disjointed systems, IVA Studio enables procurement to perform any activity across the Source-to-Pay (S2P) process through a single agent, IVA, that knows your data, follows your rules, and gets work done on day one.  IVA Studio is the AI control tower managing IVA’s skills, permissions, tools, and MCP integrations.

The company states that procurement can operate with greater speed and intelligence with IVA. A category manager preparing to re-source an expiring contract can ask IVA to pull the contract, benchmark against agreements, identify stronger suppliers, set up an RFx, and launch the event, all in a single conversation. An Accounts Payable team can have IVA validate incoming invoices against not just price and PO, but also against the harder-to-enforce contract terms buried in documents.

According to Franck Lheureux, CEO of Ivalua, “At Ivalua, we believe the future of procurement is not AI, it’s people using AI to deliver better and faster results. IVA, powered by IVA Studio, is a decisive step forward into a new era for procurement, one full of disruptive challenges and exciting opportunities,” he said.

“With IVA, procurement teams can focus on what they do best: building strategies and relationships, internally and externally. We are thrilled to lead this journey with our customers and partners,” Lheureux added.

Ivalua shared that IVA also works autonomously, in workflows, and in the background. A supplier risk event can trigger IVA to surface every affected contract, open a PO, create a mitigation plan, and propose qualified alternative suppliers. IVA can do anything a user can and more, because the entire Ivalua Source-to-Pay application is its knowledge source and toolset.
