The Marzetti Company Names Mark Carter CSCO
WESTERVILLE, Ohio — The Marzetti Company announced the appointment of Mark Carter to Chief Supply Chain Officer. Carter will be responsible for leading the company’s end-to-end supply chain organization, supporting the company’s growth strategy while maintaining rigorous safety and quality measures.
According to Dave Ciesinski, President & CEO of The Marzetti Company, “Mark is a strong addition to the Marzetti Leadership Team,” he said. “He brings deep factory-based operational expertise combined with broad enterprise-level supply chain leadership. I am confident he is the right leader to continue the work we have done over the past three years to simplify our supply chain and deliver productivity gains that support our growth strategy.”
The company stated that Carter has more than 25 years of experience leading supply chain operations across the consumer packaged goods industry. Most recently, he was chief supply chain officer for Schwan’s, leading supply chain operations across 18 manufacturing sites.

Husqvarna Group Announces Changes in Group Management
STOCKHOLM — The Husqvarna Group announced several changes to it group management, including the announcement of Lily Guo as Chief Procurement Officer, a newly established position in Group Management.
The company stated that this addition reflects the strategic importance of procurement for Husqvarna Group. Guo joins from Harman International, part of Samsung Group, where she has served as senior vice president, global operations, consumer audio since 2018.
According to Glen Instone, CEO of Husqvarna Group, “I am very pleased with these appointments and with how we are shaping our Group Management team. These leaders bring highly relevant expertise in areas that are central to our next chapter — sharpening financial performance, unlocking the strategic value of procurement, and accelerating our digital transformation,” he said.

Amanda Chawla Joins Providence as CSCO
RENTON, Wash. — Providence, a not-for-profit health system serving the Western U.S., announced Amanda Chawla as its new Chief Supply Chain Officer.
Chawla joins Providence from Stanford Medicine, where she served as senior vice president, chief supply chain and post-acute care officer. In that role, she led a complex enterprise supply chain organization and oversaw initiatives focused on operational performance, innovation, digital transformation and non-labor expense management.
According to Darryl Elmouchi, M.D., Providence chief operating officer, “Amanda is an accomplished, visionary leader whose experience aligns well with Providence’s commitment to serving patients and caregivers with excellence,” he said. “She brings strategic thinking, operational expertise and collaborative leadership that will help strengthen our supply chain capabilities across the communities we serve.”
In this role, Chawla will lead Providence’s systemwide supply chain strategy and operations, helping strengthen resiliency, improve performance and support caregivers across Providence’s hospitals and communities.

GE HealthCare Appoints Akshar Awalgaonkar as CPO
CHICAGO — GE HealthCare has appointed Akshar Awalgaonkar as Chief Procurement Officer, where he will lead the company’s global procurement strategy, with a focus on driving operational excellence, strengthening supply chain resilience, and creating strategic value across the enterprise.
The company stated that his cross-industry expertise positions him to further strengthen GE HealthCare’s procurement capabilities and support its long-term growth strategy.
Before joining GE HealthCare, Akshar served as Group Vice President & Chief Procurement Officer at Avery Dennison.
Over the course of his career, he has held senior procurement and sourcing leadership positions at GE, AbbVie, Walgreens, Whirlpool Corporation, and Bosch, gaining extensive experience in global procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain transformation, and commercial operations.

BAE Systems, Inc. Names Michael Loeffler Vice President of Supply Chain
FALLS CHURCH, Va. — BAE Systems, Inc. named Michael Loeffler as its Vice President of Supply Chain, serving as the supply chain leader across the organization. He will also serve as a member of the BAE Systems, Inc. senior leadership team.
The company stated that Loeffler will lead the company’s supply chain organization, driving strategy, execution and program delivery in support of all Inc. businesses, and ensure the supply chain remains strong, resilient and positioned to deliver on its commitments to customers.
According to BAE Systems, Inc. President and CEO Tom Arseneault, “Michael’s leadership and expertise will position our supply chain team to continue advancing the growth and success of our business,” he said.
“His deep experience across defense programs and enterprise-scale operations makes him an outstanding addition to our team, and I look forward to the impact he will have for our people, our programs and the customers we serve.”
