Amazon Veteran Stacey Wallace Appointed to CSCO for FreshRealm

LANCASTER, Texas — FreshRealm, a leading national end-to-end fresh meals platform, announced the appointment of Stacey Wallace as its chief supply chain officer. As part of the executive team, Wallace will oversee the company’s supply chain, planning, and fulfillment functions, further optimizing FreshRealm’s best-in-class infrastructure built for short-shelf-life products and servicing all channels of distribution.

The company stated that Wallace is an accomplished leader, having spent nearly 15 years at Amazon in senior positions within Amazon Fresh, Kindle, Amazon Books, Amazon Go, and Fulfillment By Amazon. There she owned pivotal initiatives to drive efficiencies, innovation, and significant cost savings for multi-billion-dollar business lines. Wallace joins FreshRealm from Redbubble Group, where she served as chief supply chain officer, driving the company to profitability by improving customer fulfillment time and product quality and reducing COGs.

Fultra Promotes Dave Kinsley to CPO

GUADALUPE, NUEVO LEON, Mexico — Fultra®, the trusted solutions partner for ground freight transportation in North America, announced that Dave Kinsley has been promoted to chief procurement officer (CPO) of Fultra, the parent company of East Manufacturing, Fruehauf, Amparts-Promare, and Sierra Norte.

The company stated that given the importance of the supply chain, the advancement of Kinsley fulfills a critical goal of Fultra’s procurement strategy to align the overall business objectives of Fultra and all its companies, including East, Fruehauf, Amparts-Promare, and Sierra Norte. As a key leader in the organization, Kinsley will handle all aspects of sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management processes and manage procurement teams across Fultra companies, including continuing to manage the East procurement team.

At the same time, his expertise in monitoring market trends and analyzing supply chains will allow not only East but its sister companies to improve sourcing and processes to gain efficiencies, to keep track of key performance indicators and to identify potential threats to safeguard against disruptions in operations all the while being agile enough to deliver quickly.

Alex Denis Joins NCTD as Chief Procurement Officer

OCEANSIDE, Calif. North County Transit District (NCTD, The District) hired Alex Denis to serve as the agency’s chief procurement officer. In this role, he will be responsible for The District’s procurement and contract management across all departments. This position will also help streamline and create new policies to ensure The District’s regulatory compliance at the state and federal levels.

According to Shawn Donaghy, NCTD chief executive officer, “Alex brings an impressive background in procurement and contract management, as well as employee development and performance metrics which will be immensely beneficial to The District,” he stated. “He will be a welcome addition to a great team in our procurement group and I am looking forward to the amazing leadership he will bring to the agency.”

The company stated that Denis most recently served as chief procurement officer for the City of Miami Beach, Florida, where he led all procurement-related contracting, contract compliance, and supplier initiatives for the world-renowned destination city. He has worked for over 25 years in public procurement management, including more than 15 years with senior-level leadership experience.

National DCP Appoints Harry Sinclair to Serve as CPO

ATLANTA National DCP (NDCP), the $3 billion supply chain management company serving Dunkin’ franchisees, hired Harry Sinclair to serve as chief procurement officer. Sinclair reports directly to CEO Stephen Down.

The company stated that as the chief procurement officer, Sinclair has overall responsibility for nearly $3 billion in spend supporting NDCP, delivering continuous cost and service-level improvements for the Dunkin’ system through executing best-in-class strategic sourcing strategy, infrastructure, and team development. His role is critical in representing sourcing and restaurant solutions in broader strategic initiatives throughout the company.

Sinclair has worked across multiple food business models in a commodity company, and both branded and private label food companies. Most recently, he served as the vice president/chief procurement officer, sourcing & co-manufacturing at E&J Gallo Winery, the largest winery in the U.S. based on sales volume. In that role, he managed a multi-billion dollar spend with a staff of about 50 people and was responsible for multiple co-manufacturing plants in the U.S., Europe, and UK.

According to Down, “Harry brings nearly 30 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, commodities, and category/supplier management to our industry-leading sourcing and restaurant solutions teams,” he said. “He will continue to build on the great work accomplished by our team to deliver significant value for our members.”

Anshum Jain Joins Schneider Electric as VP Global Supply Chain

MUMBAI — Schneider Electric, a leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, announced the appointment of Anshum Jain as the vice president of their global supply chain in India.

The company stated that Anshum will focus on driving the performance of the Global Supply Chain vertical in the country and building supply chain capabilities in India in a synergistic way.
