Each segment will also feature a few highlights from Ardent’s new State of Procurement 2021 research. The first segment is a panel discussion from three world-renowned Chief Procurement Officers.

The CPO Panel Discussion: Still Rising During Trying Times

The coronavirus is a global pandemic with enormous implications; it has been devastating. But its near-term impact on procurement and the supply chain may drive lasting changes that affect future generations of Chief Procurement Officers. On the upcoming webinar, I’ll be joined by three Best-in-Class CPOs to talk about the “still rising” role of procurement and the CPO.

A year ago when we started planning for this year’s edition of the CPO Rising 2K Webinar, we had hopes to not be talking about the global pandemic, but sadly here we are. On the upcoming panel, these three CPOs from three different industries get together and discuss about how the pandemic has affected each of their teams, their operations, and the supply chain in general. They will also discuss how the pandemic has shifted their teams’ focus in 2021 and provide advice to CPOs and those who aspire to the role on what to do in order to advance your career in the profession.
