If you’ve visited this site anytime over the past 6 weeks, you couldn’t help but notice that we’ve been busy pulling together a virtual series designed for procurement and supply management professionals to navigate the Coronavirus pandemic. This series culminated in a livestream virtual summit last Thursday which we will be discussing on these pages soon.
In sum, we produced more than 20 hours of great presentations from Chief Procurement Officers, Finance and AP leaders, HR and Talent experts, Supply Chain gurus, and Ardent’s team of senior analysts. In these sessions, we addressed a broad range of topics applicable to business executives, managers, and professionals today – the here and now of operating in an entirely new work environment and marketplace, with an almost entirely new set of considerations and rules. We produced so many sessions in such a short time that we didn’t delve deeply into the discussion of the topics or the sessions themselves, much less the expert presenters. We’ll be working on that this month.
Taken individually, each session offers an expert or two presenting for an hour on a highly relevant topic. Taken together, we have four tracks of sessions targeting a specific job function and role. Our overall structure of the entire series was to present a three-hours of main stage presentations (which we executed during the Summit) and then allow our virtual delegates to attend virtual sessions organized into tracks.
These tracks (and sessions) will be available On-Demand until the end of the month…
What are the four tracks of sessions?
Track #1 CPO and Procurement Leadership – These are presentations by and for CPOs covering topics and themes that matter to current and future procurement leaders.
Track #2: Supply Chain Management/Supply Risk Management – These are presentations from CPOs and procurement experts analyzing the global supply chain and providing insight into how to rethink, recraft, and ultimately improve it going forward. These sessions are ideal for sourcing and supply chain leaders as well as category managers and those interested in global sourcing.
Track #3 CFO and Finance/AP Leadership – Cash is King in this group of sessions led by CEOs, CFOs, and other P2P experts. These sessions are ideal for P2P, AP, finance, and shared services pros as well as procurement leaders looking to impact cash management and liquidity.
Track #4: Workforce, HR, & Talent Management – While these topics were designed for HR and contingent workforce managers in mind, they are absolutely applicable for any procurement manager dealing with a remote workforce or interested in building out their organization’s skills and capabilities.
