The Resiliency Imperative – CPO Strategies: Paving the Road to Recovery (Session 12 Overview)

The Resiliency Imperative sessions continue this week with our best set of sessions yet including three created by and for Chief Procurement Officers.

The first, CPO Strategies: Paving the Road to Recovery (click to register) is available to view on-demand.

Given the broad and all-encompassing impact of the coronavirus pandemic, it is difficult to look too far into the future. But, while the precise timing is unknown, we do know that business will eventually recover and return to a steady state. While procurement in a post-COVID-19 world may look very different, its role in business will only become more important. Now is the time to start planning.

In this session, we will we hear from longtime CPO, Anders Lillevik, who will present his ideas and strategies on what sourcing and procurement teams can start doing today to (1) prepare for the immediate aftermath of the pandemic and (2) start paving the road to recovery.

Anders is veteran Chief Procurement Officer in the Financial Services Industry (Including Fannie Mae, Webster Bank, and QBE Insurance) and longtime friend of the site (here our an interview from 2010). Anders recently founded a new company called Focal Point Procurement Solutions and I’m sure we’ll have an opportunity to touch on what he is up to there.

This session is designed for Chief Procurement Officers and other procurement leaders.
