Ardent Partners Announces “CPO Rising 2019: #ValueExpansion” Report Publication
Annual Procurement Benchmark Study Reports on the “State of” the Industry, Highlights the Challenges and Opportunities for Procurement to Achieve Next-Level Performance
BOSTON — Ardent Partners, the premiere supply management research and advisory firm, is pleased to announce the release of its annual CPO-themed research study, CPO Rising 2019: #ValueExpansion. The report draws on the experiences and perspectives of more than 300 Chief Procurement Officers and other procurement executives and gives readers a view into the state of the procurement industry in 2019. The report includes benchmark statistics, analysis, and recommendations that procurement teams can use to better understand the state of procurement today, gain insight into best practices, benchmark their performance against the Best-in-Class, and ultimately improve their operations and performance. This is the fourteenth year that Ardent’s Founder and Chief Research Officer, Andrew Bartolini, has published the report.
This year’s report, identifies procurement as an industry whose momentum is slowing and offers a series of new and innovative approaches to help CPOs expand the value they create within their enterprise and across their supply chain. To transcend the current procurement operating paradigm, CPOs will need to combine fresh ideas and approaches with a high-functioning workforce in a post-digital transformation environment.
