JAGGAER Launches Harrier JA 18.1, a Category Spend Management Solution

Earlier this week, JAGGAER, the North Carolina-based provider of source-to-settle solutions, informed us that it has launched Jaggaer Advantage 18.1, aka, Harrier, its new suite-based category spend management solution for commercial enterprises. One could be forgiven if they mistook this kind of Harrier for others (like the short take off and vertical landing attack jets employed by the U.S. Marine Corps). But Jaggaer’s Harrier is almost as cool.

Embedded within Jaggaer’s cloud-based end-to-end platform, Harrier features a dedicated category management dashboard, Category 360, that enables category managers to perform their tasks within the Jaggaer suite without having to break their workflow and go outside of the suite to email, the internet, or Excel spreadsheets. According to company officials, they can use JA Harrier to gain complete visibility into categories, forecast supply and demand, strategically plan, and manage their category or categories from source to settle. They can also use JA Harrier to manage categories within or for a particular geographic region, including local suppliers, rates, supply, demand, and risks.

Concord Contracts: Here to Help Manage GDPR for Procurement

Late last month, San Francisco-based Concord made a bold announcement: they are ready to help enterprise procurement teams manage General Data Protection Requirements (GDPR) risks. Indeed, the cloud-based contract lifecycle management solution provider boasts of a completely digital contract management solution, including contract authoring, editing, reviewing, and a locally-built eSignature capability. It also features an OCR reader that will enable hand-written notes on paper to automatically be captured by the system and incorporated into the contract editing and review process. By digitizing an enterprise’s procurement contracts and removing paper from the process, CPOs and procurement teams can decrease the likelihood that applicable data could be missed in their attempts to comply with GDPR requirements. Mazree Goes to Market with a Smart Auctions Platform for Asset Disposition

Also late last month, Mazree, the Utah-based provider of B2B marketplace solutions, particularly for healthcare providers and vendors, announced the release of Mazree Smart Auctions, a new eAuction platform built for supply chain asset disposition managers to help them list and auction off retired or surplus equipment. Mazree Smart Auctions features a mobile app for anywhere, any time listing; automatic bidding – place your maximum and let the program take it from there; payment processing for buyers and suppliers; and auction analytics to help sellers understand the finer points of their transactions. Mazree Smart Auctions had been available in beta-testing for a year, but was formally released a couple of weeks ago. The mobile app is now available in the iTunes app store and Google Play.
