Coupa Announces Partnership with TripActions to Enhance T&E
Coupa Software, the California-based provider of spend management solutions in the cloud, recently announced that it has partnered with TripActions, another California-based provider of mobile-first, “end-to-end” travel and expense (T&E) management solution providers, in an effort to enhance the T&E experience for users. Details of the partnership are light, but it appears that users will be able to make air, car, and hotel bookings through TripActions’ solution and manage the expense portion of the process in Coupa’s systems. In doing so, users will be able to take advantage of loyalty rewards from preferred vendors and accrue points for personal use while channeling the expenses into Coupa’s consolidated system for management – a win-win for users and enterprises.
SAP Concur Expands Partnership with Airbnb
Last month, SAP Concur, the Washington-based provider of T&E management solutions in the cloud, announced that it has expanded its partnership with Airbnb, the online marketplace for finding short-term lodging and accommodations. Now, users will be able to search for and book Airbnb lodging within the Concur T&E management application, which will allow them to manage the expenses in the back end and remain internally compliant. Also, travel managers and supervisors will be able to have visibility into employee travel and spend and ensure both compliance to corporate travel policies and their safety while traveling.
Certify Partners with nuTravel, Releases T&E Solution for Medium and Large Organizations
Travel and expense management solution provider, Certify, recently announced that it has partnered with nuTravel, a Dallas and New York-based provider of online travel booking and expense management solutions, in an effort to develop a T&E management solution for mid- and large-sized businesses. Dubbed Certify Enterprise Travel, this new solution will integrate with Certify’s legacy online T&E solution for small-sized companies and look to provide enterprises of all sizes with digital, integrated T&E management solutions. Certify Enterprise Travel will allow enterprises to maintain relationships with third-party “travel management companies” (TMCs) and integrate with automated receipt processing, T&E approval, and expense reimbursement.
Chrome River and Lyft Partner to Connect Business Travel with T&E Management
Last month, Chrome River, the Los Angeles-based provider of digital spend management solutions, announced that it has partnered with ride-hailing provider, Lyft, to integrate their solutions to enhance the customer experience. Chrome River will integrate its EXPENSE platform with Lyft for Business platform, which will allow customers to complete ordering, payment, and expense reporting more efficiently and securely. The Lyft for Business platform allows customers to create a business profile by simply adding a work email. These customers will now be able to choose Chrome River as the preferred expense report provider to help automate expensing. Receipts from business trips will be automatically added to the user’s Chrome River account after the transaction has been processed. The receipt will then be uploaded into the customer’s expense report via Chrome River EXPENSE; it will extract the operative data and import it directly into a line-item expense report. This will provide customers with a more streamlined and automated reporting process.
Egencia Integrates Expense Management Solution with Chrome River
Egencia, the business travel arm of Expedia, the popular travel search and booking site, announced last month that it has integrated its newly developed and deployed T&E management solution suite, Egencia Integrated Travel and Expense, with Chrome River’s expense management platform. Readers may recall that in February, we reported on the development and deployment of this solution suite and described how it was to be an open platform with an API that allows it to integrate with other internal databases and systems, like ERP, T&E, and Travel Risk Management systems. Now, Egencia has integrated its solution suite with Chrome River, which is just one of 29 partners connecting to the platform.
