Proactis Set to Acquire Perfect Commerce

It was recently announced that Proactis has agreed to acquire the Virginia-based sourcing and procurement solution provider, Perfect Commerce. The acquisition, totaling around $132.5m, is scheduled to be completed around August 4, 2017, and is subject to approval by Proactis shareholders. Proactis, a specialist spend management solution provider, has previously acquired Intesource in 2014 and Millstream Associates in 2016 (click here to read about this most recent acquisition by Proactis). With the acquisition of Perfect Commerce, Proactis, which is based in the U.K., continue its expansion efforts in the US market. Perfect and Proactis will be able to synergize their resources, and with that, there should opportunities to cross-sell each other’s solutions/services into the other’s customer base.

JAGGAER and LexisNexis Risk Solutions Announce New Global Alliance to Reduce Supply Chain Risk

JAGGAER, the North Carolina-based source-to-settle solutions provider (formerly SciQuest) recently announced a new global alliance with LexisNexis Risk Solutions, a data and analytics company. The alliance will look to provide data that reduces supply chain risk and help deliver compliance management tools to their customers. For LexisNexis Risk Solutions customers, this alliance will give them an efficient way to assess the compliance and risk of supply chain vendors through the massive amounts of data now available to them. JAGGAER, which recently announced a merger with Pool4Tool to combine their direct and indirect spend management systems, is focusing on compliance management to be able to provide its customers with critical risk management information.

Certify Announces New Integration with Lyft for Business

Travel and expense management solution provider, Certify, recently announced a new integration with ride-hailing provider, Lyft. Leveraging the Lyft for Business platform, customers will be able to complete ordering, payment, and expense reporting more efficiently and securely. The Lyft for Business platform allows customers to create a business profile by simply adding a work email. These customers will now be able to choose Certify as the preferred expense report provider to help automate expensing.  Receipts from business trips will be kept separate from personal rides and automatically added to the Certify user’s account after the transaction has been processed. The receipt will then be uploaded by Certify into the customer’s expense report via the Certify Wallet. This will provide customers with a more streamlined reporting process.

Basware Announces New Predictive Analytics Capabilities to Its S2P Solution

Basware, the Finland-based provider of procure-to-pay (P2P) and e-invoicing solutions, recently announced the release of new predictive analytics capabilities in its cloud-based Source-to-Pay solution. These capabilities incorporate an intelligent algorithm that should help organizations prevent late payments, capture early discounts, and optimize cash flow. Predictive analytics show users data by analyzing patterns in transactional information and then predict potential future outcomes. Basware also announced the release of a new payments dashboard that will display historical invoice data and highlight different trends. Customers will be able to utilize this information to track the whole lifecycle of invoices which will help them better understand how to streamline invoice processing and maximize the days available for the approval process.

Infor Expands ERP Software into Supply Chain with “Networked CloudSuites”

Infor, the cloud-based enterprise software company with headquarters in New York, recently announced the expansion of their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software into the extended supply chain. “Networked CloudSuites” offers a business network that connects the core applications of an enterprise with its logistics, supplier, and finance networks. The core functionality will be delivered from the GT Nexus commerce network (Infor acquired GT Nexus in 2015) into “Infor CloudSuite” industry suites. The suites that Infor is now offering will unify multiple applications into a single suite for specific industries, such as healthcare, public sector, distribution, and various manufacturing industries like aerospace & defense, automotive, food & beverage, and industrial manufacturing. Infor is expected to start delivering “Networked CloudSuites” during the second half of 2017.
