Lavante Release Financial Results for the First Half of 2016

On July 12, Lavante, Inc., a cloud-based supplier management solution provider based in San Jose, CA, announced financial results for the first half of 2016. Company officials attributed strong revenue, client, and business growth to its quarterly solution release cycles, especially the release of SIM 6.0. This version is said to include Lavante Scorecarding, which aims to improve supply performance evaluation and management. Highlights from Lavante’s announcement include:

  • A doubling of SIM-related revenue compared to H1 2015
  • An increase in net profit gains of seven points compared to H1 2015
  • Record monthly per-client recovery totals for the company
  • An average increase of 16% of their clients’ supplier compliance levels compared to H1 2015

Revitas Announces General Release of Contract Management Solution

On July 5, Revitasa Philadelphia-based provider of revenue acceleration and contract management solutions, announced the general release of its new contract management platform, ContractWIZE. Revitas collaborated with its customers and incorporated their wish-list items into the cloud-based, software-as-a-solution contract management platform that reportedly will provide end-to-end management across the organization. ContractWIZE features an easy user interface, “wizards” for guided learning, dashboard views for easy, one-stop process management, and visualization tools to bring contract management to life.

Randstad Sourceright Announces the Release of FMS Platform, twago

On July 4, Randstad Sourceright, a Netherlands-based provider of talent management solutions, announced the release of twago, a freelance management system (FMS) that boasts having more than 500,000 registered workers already connected to it. Randstad’s announcement follows its acquisition of twago in June of this year. Under the Randstad Sourceright branding, twago will be offered to Randstad’s existing customers, including those that leverage a managed service provider (MSP). Organizations can also incorporate twago under their own branding into their own FMS platforms. They can also integrate twago with Randstad’s talent analytics hub, TalentRadar, to drive visibility into an organization’s freelance talent that is available to them (or not available to them) at any given time.

Kinaxis Announces Updated Supply Chain Management Solution

On July 11, Kinaxis, the Ottawa, Canada-based provider of supply chain management (SCM) and sales and operations planning (S&OP) solutions, announced updates to RapidResponse 2016.2, its SCM platform. The new release features Adaptive Collaboration, a network-based social collaboration setup that allows stakeholders to interact, plan, and share data with each other in one central, digital location that also happens to be mobile-friendly. RapidResponse 2016.2 also features updates to Kinaxis applications. These include Master Production Scheduling, which seeks to enhance scheduling capabilities to help fill customer needs; Order Fulfillment, which allows for simulation, analysis, and dynamic modelling to provide customers with more accurate delivery estimates; and Inventory Management, which seeks to align current and future inventory optimization priorities so that there are no conflicts. RapidResponse 2016.2 also boasts improvements to its reporting and scorecard capabilities, and its knowledge services model.
