IQNavigator Set to Release Improved Vendor Management System

In mid May, IQNavigator, the Denver-based provider of non-employee Vendor Management Systems (VMS), announced that it has updated its offering, which will now feature configurable dashboards and automated workflows for on-boarding and off-boarding contingent workers. The update, which will be available in Q1 of 2016, will replace manual, time- and labor-intensive processes with automated workflows to ensure that non-employees that are being on- or off-boarded from an organization do so in an efficient, transparent, compliant, and secure manner. Human resources, procurement managers, and supervisors are kept apprised of a contingent worker’s status throughout the process of completing background investigations, drug testing, paperwork, providing certifications and licenses, receiving training, provisioning and de-provisioning, and so on without having to manually guide them through the process. This results in a more compliant, cost effective, efficient, and secure process that benefits the enterprise as well as the contingent worker.

CallidusCloud to Feature DocuSign Digital Transaction Management

Also in mid-May, Callidus Software (Nasdaq: CALD), the Dublin, California-based provider of sales, marketing, and customer experience solutions in the cloud, announced that it will embed DocuSign’s Digital Transaction Management (DTM) solution within its own suite of configure price quote, contract lifecycle management, and commissions solutions, making it the sole digital/electronic signature capability within the system. The capabilities afforded by DTM will allow Callidus users, particularly sales staff, to more quickly, seamlessly, and securely close deals using DocuSign’s digital/electronic signature, automated workflows, document repositories, and enhanced security features. The net result for sales staff will be more time spent closing deals and collecting commissions on them and less time manually processing paperwork. It will also expose DocuSign’s DTM solution to more users in the market, particularly those outside of contracting, legal, procurement, and real estate.

Rosslyn Analytics Deploys Analytics-as-a-Service on Microsoft Azure

In late May, Database Trends and Applications reported that London-based Rosslyn Analytics, which provides cloud-based big data management and analytics solutions for enterprise procurement teams, can now deploy Analytics-as-a-Service on the Microsoft Azure platform. Rosslyn is one of a few companies to do so. They have taken their already robust RAPid platform, which provides users with a cloud-based, self-service big data management, analytics, and visualization tool, and deployed it on Microsoft’s Azure along with Hadoop, Python, and R. As a result, users from across the enterprise, including sales, procurement, and IT, can access the program and interact with the data to transform it beyond its raw form using cloud-based tools that are already available on Azure, making the need to code a thing of the past.

Informatica Releases Total Supplier Relationship Management Tool

Also in late May, Informatica (Nasdaq: INFA), the California-based provider of data management solutions, announced that it has just released Total Supplier Relationship (TSR), a master data management (MDM) tool for holistic, end-to-end supplier information, performance, and risk management. According to Informatica officials, TSR reaches across business silos and automatically streamlines supplier, supply, and product information to ensure that it is updated throughout the organization. In doing so, supply chain, sourcing, and procurement teams can be sure to have the most up-to-date information, regardless of personnel changes, and maintain collaboration throughout. TSR pools information into an interface that allows end-users to interact with the data, view supplier compliance, performance, and risk assessments, and take the appropriate action.

IGATE Partners with Coupa, Deploys End-to-End Business Process-as-a-Service

Also in late May, IGATE (Nasdaq: IGTE), a New Jersey-based business process outsourcing provider, announced that it has partnered with Coupa, the California-based provider of spend management solutions, to offer a cloud-based, end-to-end, procure-to-pay Business Process-as-a-Service (BPaaS) for sourcing, procurement, and accounts payable/finance departments. IGATE-Coupa’s BPaaS will allow end users across the organization manage and analyze spend data within the cloud, either at the upstream/procurement side or at the downstream/payables side. The partnership will leverage IGATE’s  iTOPS (Integrated Technology and Operations), and mate it with Coupa’s cloud-based system that will also allow it sit atop an organization’s ERP system. As a result, users will be able to pull data from across an organization’s silos, connect the dots, and provide end-to-end visibility from upstream to downstream.

Coupa Announces New Supplier Information Management Tool, Calls for Early Users

At its June 4 Inspire event, Coupa, the California-based spend management solution provider, announced that it will release an improved supplier information management (SIM) tool later this year, and called for early users to help make the product even better. The new tool will draw upon Coupa’s suite of cloud-based solutions to provide a SIM tool that improves information quality, relationships, and performance of direct and indirect commodity providers. It also does not require suppliers to register with Coupa in order to provide their information, making it a more user-friendly and attractive platform for prospective suppliers to work with. Existing Coupa users interested in becoming early SIM users are encouraged to reach out to their company representative.
