CPO Rising’s 2015 Hot Tech Prospect – Rosslyn Analytics

CPO Rising’s 2015 Hot Tech Prospect – Rosslyn Analytics

This week, Ardent Partners unveils its second annual list of “CPO Rising Hot Tech Prospects” where we introduce and analyze the hot new prospects in the supply management technology market for 2015. Before we begin, let’s answer the big question — What’s the criteria for selecting a new prospect?

First, the emphasis here is on “new” when we use the term prospect; as such, established providers who have been successfully selling their solutions for years are not eligible. Second, the members of our “CPO Rising Class of 2015″ have had their early successes and are ready for the big leagues.

CPO Rising’s 2015 Hot Tech Prospect – Rosslyn Analytics

Prospect Bio: Rosslyn Analytics, a subsidiary of Rosslyn Data Technologies, was founded in 2007 after its founders had logged some experience working with British financial and telecom companies, and found their data management and analytics capabilities to be lacking. As a result, the founding members developed a data management platform that would allow end users to aggregate, categorize, cleanse, and analysis disparate spend data and produce meaningful information or intelligence. That platform would ultimately come to be known as RAPid, and would eventually become a low-cost, on-demand solution with in-memory computing. Rosslyn built RAPid with its PRISM engine, an intelligent system that “learns” how to compute based on user interfacing, resulting in an increasingly enriched product. Just last year, Rosslyn went to market with RAPid In-Touch, a natively built, mobile enabled, on-demand supplier management program that incorporates supplier surveys, scorecards, with traditional enterprise spend data, allowing end users to perform multivariate (or discrete) analyses of their suppliers, supplier performance, and spend.

Ardent Partners Expert Analysis: Rosslyn’s solutions mitigate some common time- and labor-intensive challenges for enterprises: the integration, management, and analysis of structured and unstructured data. Their suite of solutions makes this a collectively easier endeavor, and by having PRISM drive the platform, they allow the network of users to refine the data as they use it. In fact, the more users that are on RAPid, the better and more refined the end product will be. According to the Rosslyn team, this “network effect” is helping to make it popular beyond procurement and supply management teams; HR, product development, and other enterprise teams have been adopting it, which will surely drive Rosslyn’s continued growth into new enterprise departments and regional markets. In 2015 and beyond, Rosslyn has their sights set on North America and the U.S., in particular. They also have some more product releases planned, and more development and integration for the PRISM engine.

Congratulations to Rosslyn Analytics on becoming our fifth CPO Rising 2015 Hot Tech Prospect!
