Regular readers know that this site is published by Ardent Partners, a leading research and advisory firm focused on supply management. With the new year just around the corner, we wanted to share some of the exciting plans that we have in store for you in 2013. We’ll start today with CPO Rising.
CPO Rising’s Plans for 2013
In January, CPO Rising begins its fourth year with a firm promise to deliver more in 2013. More articles from more contributors and more direct coverage of the supply management technology market. Later in the year, we will begin to better leverage the CPO Rising platform to produce more dynamic content. In the past, I have written almost every article and generally reserved Ardent Partners’ views on the technology landscape and the different technology providers for our published research and our client conversations. That changes in Q1 when CPO Rising welcomes new contributors and regular coverage of the supply management technology landscape.
In 2011, CPO Rising officially became the largest and most popular website (according to at least one third-party web-traffic measurement service) focused on procurement and supply management. Since then, the rankings have fluctuated, but CPO Rising remains a top site in the US and globally. It is important to note that CPO Rising has accomplished its high ranking by publishing, on average, three articles a week. We believe that increasing the frequency of publishing will have a direct and significant impact on the size and continued growth of our readership.
Visually, CPO Rising is a pretty dynamic site; but, its back-end is also quite flexible. In the second half of 2013, we plan to introduce new and exciting content in more dynamic formats.
