YouTube Hall of Fame – Procurement: United Kingdom’s CPO Speaks

Over the holidays, my team and I watched 250 million (plus or minus) different YouTube videos in pursuit of one final week of inductees into our YouTube Hall of Fame for Procurement – all so that you wouldn’t have to.

Today’s inductee is an “instant classic” that was recorded in November, 2011 when John Collington, the UK’s first Chief Procurement Officer addressed the Crown and key government suppliers on ‘a new way of working together.’  A few quick thoughts:

1) While the presentation is twenty minutes long, it moves quickly and addresses a wide range of topics that are applicable to organizations undergoing their own transformation

2) At some point in the future, we’ll do a more in depth discussion of Mr. Collington’s presentation, his plan, and results to date.

Our heartfelt congratulations to this year’s Class of Inductees into the “YouTube Hall of Fame – Procurement:”
