Roberto -

Buon Anno!

I do consider PEC, one version of a "local" CPO club. It is a little different than what I described, but it can serve the same purpose - and that's the real point. How you go about it can take many shapes; but, are procurement leaders going out and establishing personal peer relationships that exist beyond the four walls of their enterprise?

Andrew, you took part to a meeting of the Procurement Executive Circle (PEC), a club where the Procurement and Supply Chain Managers of the most important Italian companies (some 15% of Italy's GDP) meet three-four times a year for a couple of days - rotating sites and topics - to share knowledge, practices, experiences, with a significant interaction and benchmarking. Do you think PEC is an appropriate example of CPOs local network ?
