There is no doubt that technology is actively shaping the world of work. From digital talent engagement to artificial intelligence, the realm of innovation is a powerful spectrum in relation to the concept of the Future of Work. As discussed in Ardent’s research, there are many outlets of pure innovation that are dynamically transforming work is addressed and optimized.

Too, organizations today are at the proverbial dawn of a new era. Advances in data analytics are changing the way that humans work and interface with technology in order to complete their work. Although there remains much fear that computers and robotics will complete the decades-long process of automating workers out of their jobs, the fact of the matter is that technology today and for the foreseeable future will augment rather than replace humans. It will make workers’ lives easier and help them reach their full potential. Two technological innovations that exemplify this revolution in work (and that generate significant industry “buzz”) are machine learning and artificial intelligence.

This coming Thursday, November 1 (at 1:30pm ET), join Ardent Partners for an exciting and complimentary webcast (sponsored and hosted by ZeroChaos) that will deep-dive into the short- and long-term roles of artificial intelligence and demystify the real role of AI in today’s businesses. I will be joined by ZeroChaos CEO Jim Burke, who will also draw links to the technology’s potential in transforming talent engagement and talent management for organizations today and in the months and years to come.

Jim and I will discuss why the clear progressions within the AI landscape will make it easier for businesses to deploy and integrate improved functionality into everyday operations. The year ahead is crucial for companies already leveraging AI in some capacity, as the move from “light utilization” to “moderate utilization” can translate into major gains for operational efficiencies (beyond chatbots) like converged software infrastructures, recruitment and staffing automation, and next-generation scenario building.

During Thursday’s webinar, Jim and I plan to tackle another polarizing topic within the world of talent management: the evolution of “total workforce management.” With 41.5% of the world’s total workforce now considered non-employee (according to upcoming Ardent Partners research), the thought of a blended enterprise workforce has become a reality. Combined with many other factors contributing to the evolving world of work, the time is now for businesses to adopt a total workforce management strategy. Ardent Partners defines total workforce management as the standardized and centralized program for engaging, acquiring, sourcing, and managing all types of talent via linked procurement and human capital processes, integrated contingent workforce management and human capital management systems, and utilization of total talent intelligence. And, this coming Thursday, we plan to unveil some interesting insights into the role of artificial intelligence in developing this revolutionary strategy.

Click here to register for Thursday’s webcast, and I look forward to seeing you there!
