Rosslyn Data Technologies Partners with Dun & Bradstreet for Self-Service Spend Analysis
On November 10, London-based Rosslyn Data Technologies, which provides cloud-based big data management and analytics solutions for enterprise procurement teams, announced that it has partnered with Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), the New Jersey-based provider of third-party credit, market intelligence, and risk information, to provide procurement users with self-service spend analysis tools that leverage D&B data. The two companies will combine Rosslyn’s cloud-based RAPid analytic platform and D&B’s 265 million business records to provide procurement practitioners with a self-service capability to perform the full spectrum of spend data management and analysis. In doing so, the partnership aims to increase efficiencies by decreasing reliance on IT for custom data cuts, providing decision makers like the Chief Procurement Officer with actionable intelligence, and decreasing time-to-decision.
Unimarket Updates Sourcing and Procurement Tools
On November 14, Unimarket, the Maryland-based provider of procurement and accounts payable (AP) solutions for the cloud, announced that it has updated its sourcing and procurement tools with “Unimarket 5.0.” The updated solutions include new dashboards with improved user interface (UI), including enhanced invoice layouts, quicker access to spend and supplier information, fewer clicks, and greater data displays. Unimarket 5.0 will also provide users with increased visibility into process workflows, which could also increase compliance and risk management efforts. Company officials indicate that updated dashboards for sourcing, contracts, and invoicing will follow in the coming months.
Intelex Updates Supplier Management Solution
On November 16, Intelex, a Toronto-based provider of environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) and quality management solutions, announced that it has updated its supplier management solution to provide enhanced supply chain visibility and supplier compliance. Features of the updated solution include an improved supplier relationship management capability that allows users to communicate with parent and subsidiary companies; a product management capability that allows users to effectively inventory goods and services inside their supplier base; and a shipping, receiving, and inspection capability that allows users to conduct quality control on goods and services coming into or leaving the business.
SciQuest Updates Suite of Solutions with SciQuest 16.3
On November 15, North Carolina-based SciQuest, which offers automated spend management solutions for procurement practitioners, announced a group of updates to its source-to-settle solution suite, dubbed SciQuest 16.3. Updates include “Adaptive Event Management,” which gives suppliers real-time visibility into sourcing events and allows them to change their prices based on user feedback. 16.3 also features TrustWeaver, a new tool that enhances international eInvoicing compliance to local VAT and sales tax. Additional updates include enhancements to its contract management tool that provide enhanced visibility into, control over, and reporting on contracts.
Icertis and Thomson Reuters Collaborate on Compliance Management
On November 17, Icertis, the Washington-based provider of automated, cloud-based contract management solutions, announced that it has partnered with Thomson Reuters, the global provider of third-party risk information and intelligence for business professionals, to provide Icertis users with enhanced due dilligence and compliance capabilities. Under the partnership, Icertis Contract Management (ICM) users will have access to Thomson Reuters World-Check intelligence and risk information that is piped directly into ICM, allowing them to conduct enhanced counter-party due dilligence and contract compliance efforts. The integration will allow users to check business partners, particularly suppliers, against watch lists for associations with bribery, corruption, conflict minerals, human trafficking, labor issues, modern slavery, and other derogatory information. If there are hits, the configuration will draw user attention to it and initiate workflows to mitigate the associated risks.
