Accruent Announces 2015 Financial Results

On January 19, Accruent, the Austin, Texas-based  provider of cloud-based software solutions that manage indirect spend categories like facilities and real estate management, announced financial results for calendar year 2015. Accruent reported year-over-year growth in many key areas, like revenue and software bookings, each by 43%. It also added 171 customers, gained new customers in Brazil, Colombia, and Nigeria, and boasts a 97% customer retention rate. Accruent attributes its growth and success in 2015 to the launch of AssetConnect, 64 product releases, and 139 implementation go-lives, which represents a 48% increase year-over-year.

Dell Software and SciQuest Collaborate to Manage Software Integrations

On January 13, California-based Dell Software and North Carolina-based SciQuest (Nasdaq: SQI), which offers automated spend management solutions for procurement practitioners, announced that they have partnered to increase integration between SciQuest applications and its clients’ in-house ERP systems. The partnership entails SciQuest adopting Dell Boomi’s AtomSphere integration platform as-a-service (iPaaS) to link SciQuest’s spend management applications with on-cloud or on-premise ERP solutions using a flexible, user-friendly, and pre-built integration platform. The partnership will reportedly reduce client integration times down from months to as little as days.

Infor Releases Newest Version of Supply Chain Management Solution, SCE

On January 18, Infor, the New York City-based provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and supply chain management solutions for the cloud, announced that it has released the newest version of its supply chain management solution, dubbed “Infor Supply Chain Execution” (SCE). Version 10.4 is said to be more user friendly and ought to help companies achieve a return on investment quicker. Specific features and upgrades include dynamic slotting for retail and omni-channel operations, an improved inbound quality control feature for easier sampling of goods, a user interface for HTML5, dashboards specifically designed for retail, healthcare, and 3PL industries, and the ability to modify and personalize user experience. SCE Version 10.4 is available in English, Chinese, Dutch, French, and Swedish.

Accenture Leverages SAP Ariba to Offer Procurement-as-a-Service

On January 20, Chicago-based Accenture, the management consulting firm and technology systems integrator, announced that it is partnering with  SAP Ariba, the online business network wholly owned by SAP, to integrate Ariba’s sourcing application into Accenture’s own proprietary procurement solutions and augment its source-to-pay capabilities. Accenture will integrate Ariba Sourcing Professional with its Procurement-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings, particularly its business process outsourcing (BPO) platform, to provide Accenture users with real-time scoring capabilities for qualitative questions, as well as advanced auction capabilities.
