MMQ – What is the “Must-Have” AP Performance Metric?

So, it is not Monday (where we occasionally publish our Monday Morning Query series) and this is the third AP/ePayables focused article in a row. Guilty as charged!

This article takes an odd a unique approach in covering the presentation that the inimitable Jon Casher gave at the FUSION 2011 conference.

If this were a cheesy 1980s courtroom drama, I would ask for approval on my approach by saying, “if it may please the court, I’d like to pursue this unique approach or line of questioning” and the judge would say, “although it is highly unusual, I’ll allow it”  (check out the link!). But, times have changed. It is not the 1980s; although some AP departments seem to think so from an operational standpoint. What does all of this mean? It means my two straight weeks at conferences in Orlando are starting to take a toll….

So our query simply is what is the most important metric for AP to focus upon improving? And, why should they focus on this metric and what are the implications of improving this metric.

I’ll publish Jon’s ideas on this topic in the next article; I would love to hear yours….

Finally a reminder to consider taking our research survey – Thanks!
