Today we are pleased to officially announce our multi-year alliance with The Institute of Financial Operations (“IFO”).

The IFO is the newly rebranded name of the organization that includes the International Accounts Payable Professionals (IAPP) and the National Association of Purchasing and Payables (NAPP). The IFO has established itself as a premier association and we are excited to partner with it to deliver events, research, and other services for the fast-growing and vital supply management/procurement/P2P market. It is a member organization comprised of more than 7,000 professionals today; it is well on its way to 10,000.

IFO and Ardent initiate its alliance today with the announcement of two premier events: “CPO Rising 2012,” an annual symposium for chief procurement officers, supply management and procure-to-pay leaders, and other procurement executives; and a second, larger and more comprehensive P2P-themed event in 2012.

Our brief description of CPO Rising 2012:

CPO Rising, an executive symposium jointly offered by Ardent Partners and The Institute of Financial Operations, promises unique opportunities for the exchange of ideas among chief procurement officers, supply management and procure-to-pay leaders, and other procurement executives. The one-and-a-half day event will bring together thought leaders and leading practitioners to share best practices in an ideal networking environment. Themes will include sourcing, P2P, supply management, supply risk, globalization, and procurement-led innovation.

More details regarding these events will be posted on CPO Rising in the fall.
